1h Free Webinar – available now!

(Webinar recorded on 9 April 2020)

What the webinar covers

Operating a small practice is rewarding in so many ways; the freedom to create something and operate it in your own way for instance. However, they certainly have their difficulties like any small business. With COVID-19 affecting everyone, it’s important to get through this period and come out the other side with a strong rebound.

Whilst we all tend to work in the business, principals of firms can limit their time and space by working on the business.

As a result, your firm can be missing out of critical returns from an effectively managed business. Now is the time to address them.

This webinar will provide practical examples of the how small practices can take realistic and incremental actions that allow them to regain control of their firm and reap the rewards of their hard work.

Participants will be provided with discussion focusing on:

1. Structuring for improved profitability;

2. Revenue streams and reliance on them;

3. Mitigating your risk (and not just professional indemnity);

4. Effective cash flow focused client engagement;

5. How clients are serviced in the post-COVID-19 environment;

6. Reviewing costs structure for ineffective returns;

7. Reporting and keeping your finger on the pulse; and

8. Maximising the cash received and the speed your firm can get it.

About Progressive Legal CPD

We’ve found in the past that webinars for lawyers (especially free ones!) don’t provide really good practical knowledge, especially in the mandatory subject areas.

Some people we spoke to expressed frustration and disappointment that most mandatory webinars were either extremely boring, not helpful, useful or practical, or they were annoyed that their time was wasted, or were essentially just a sales pitch for someone else’s product.

Our goal is to provide better CPD programs to lawyers that will provide better webinars with practical knowledge, instead of just “ticking the box” each year. We believe this type of education should provide useful tips for day-to-day activities.

We’re going to organise great content from experts, asking common questions from lawyers and interviewed by us from that legal perspective.

We hope you enjoy this webinar and the useful tips.

If you have any comments or suggestions for future webinars for CPD, please feel free to get in touch here or call 0421974133.

Kind regards,
Ian Aldridge
